Anonymous Artists
Artists, you do yourself a disservice when you choose anonymity in online art communities. It’s bad enough that as images get shared online, they may lose the accompanying text that identified you in the first post. But if you start out without a name like this, it’s going to be even harder for anyone to identify you later. I know that users on sites like Tumblr and DeviantART have developed a culture of cute pseudonyms instead of real names, buy why would you take the time to create beautiful work, and then not credit yourself?
